As soon as I understood how the State Machine works, it was straightforward to implement the wall climbing mechanics. I have done this mechanic in Godot as well and I have to say here in Unity, it was way easier, since the States are clear and the wall climbing check is done only at two/three specific state. (Could have just been that my code in Godot was poorly structured and messy and wasn't that nicely handled as the 2DGameKit, lol).
The map designing was fast and I liked to play with the background, tho I don't want to be a designer of levels. Small scale is kinda fun, bigger stuff would probably be a paiiiin.
I struggled with resetting the keys inside the inventory, respawning keys and the KeyUI. Took me more than two hours to figure it out, got some gray hair from it. Ngl I was super furious at the end of yesterday as I wanted to be done with the project but the respawning wasn't working as I wanted. I am glad I finally figured it out.
